Huaian Fantawild Glorious Orient, the first theme park in Jiangsu province to feature China’s recent history and modernization, opened on July 1st 2022. The park was developed by Fantawild Holdings Inc. and the local government of the city of Huaian. With a total investment of over 3 billion CNY, the park occupies an area of about 600 thousand square meters. Featuring 5 themed streets, as well as many immersive attractions presenting China’srecent struggles over the course of a century, the new park is expected to receive over 3 million visitors per year.

First Fantawild Park in Jiangsu Province
The new park is located at No.1 Fantawild Avenue, Hongze District, Huaian. It boasts 8 bespoke indoor and more than 30 outdoor attractions, as well as hundreds of landscape designs, restaurants and shops.
In addition to China’s recent history, including its road to independence and regeneration,the park also showcases famous historical figures and events from the local area. Visitors can catch a glimpse of the culture and traditions of eras gone by while immersing themselves into a totally different world.
Advanced Technology Creates an Immersive Experience
As the second installment of the Beautiful China trilogy, which is comprised of 3 types of theme parks, this new park makes good use of cutting-edg etechnology such as AR, VR, HD huge screens, and spherical screens to present some well-known stories in an immersive manner. These tales include Old Summer Palace, Zhi Yuan, Heroine, Glorious Orient, Railroad Warriors, The Glorious Years, and more.
On indoor rafting attraction Zhi Yuan, visitors board boats to witness fierce sea battles and better understand the legendary life of the ancient cruiser of the same name which was once part of the Chinese navy. Visitors are immersed in historic events and can soak up the patriotic and adventurous spirit embodied on board this cruiser.
The indoor stage performance Heroine presents touching stories from several women through novel performances which highlight their patriotic spirit during times of turmoil.
Glorious Orient boasts a 3D theater with a huge screen. The film shown here presents to visitors China’s history since 1840, including the country’s setbacks, great achievements in industrialization and its eventual opening up.
In the 4D dark ride Railroad Warriors, visitors can experience the battlefield firsthand as they follow characters sneaking to strategic locations such as a train station seized by the enemy.
The stage performance The Glorious Years selects popular songs from the past 70 years and presents them alongside live performances on moveable stages. In this attraction, visitors can revisit China’s good old days.
In addition to the above attractions, visitors can also watch the stage performance Old Summer Palace and try the flight simulation ride Let’s Fly. Both of these attractions are considered to be classics at Fantawild parks.
One-stop Destination Appeals to Families and Visitors of Different Ages
The new park provides entertainment, dining, and themed performances to visitors.It boasts hundreds of landscape designs as well food and beverage outlets.Young people can try thrilling attractions like the roller coaster FighterJet, which reaches speeds of 90 km per hour, or Pirate Adventure, which has a large swing. Older people might prefer performances, while there are also attractions suitable for younger children. The park has many pseudo-classic buildings and backdrops.
